HFC Deep Fiber solution helps Cable operators expanding bandwidth of their existing HFC network while minimizing capital investment. ACT Deep Fiber solution includes high density 1.2GHz state-of-the-art optical headend platform, supporting DOCSIS 3.1 upgrade with sophisticated yet simple-to-use HMS compliance management.

At outside plant, the solution includes a series of optical nodes designed specifically for small network segmentation. The optical nodes produce high output and are installed much closer to subscriber premises. As a result the use of inline RF amplifiers could be negated. This architecture improves overall network performance, and with fewer than 150 subscribers at each segment, the system offers sufficient bandwidth for new application demand.
